Ingredients:

  • 250g Pasta Mista Fusili (a colorful blend of fusilli pasta)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the Pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta but reserve about a cup of the pasta water for later.

Prepare the Herb Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the chopped parsley, basil, and thyme leaves to the butter. Stir well to combine, allowing the herbs to infuse into the butter for about 1-2 minutes.

Toss Pasta with Herb Butter: Add the drained fusilli to the skillet with the herb butter. Toss well to ensure each spiral is coated in the buttery herb mixture. If the pasta seems too dry, add a little of the reserved pasta water to help the sauce coat the pasta evenly.

Season: Season the pasta with salt and freshly ground black pepper to your taste. Give it a final toss to distribute the seasoning evenly.
